The marketing myth of the “kills 99.9%* of germs” has been used for years to drive up sales, but what does it really mean? In essence, these chemical products can kill germs, however the * that you see after the % tells you it’s time to read the fine print! The reality of these products, is that once they kill up to 99.9% of a select few types of germs in pristine lab conditions, they are able to put the claim “kills 99.9%* of germs” on their product to boost sales. Most studies found that these products tend to only be able to target 2 or 3 types of bacteria, and not only do they only target a few of the many bad critters out there, they were also found throughout various tests to only actually eliminate 40-60% of those specific types of bacteria! Yuck!

On the other hand, our powerful dry steam vapour cleaning method actually kills 99.9% (and sometimes 99.999%) of bacteria, germs, dust mites, mould, viruses, and the list goes on!
